Position Description
Works closely with doctors, coaches, student athletes and the
Associate Director Athletics for Sports Medicine in the prevention,
treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries for athletes involved in
the various Texas Tech University Athletic programs.

Major/Essential Functions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years experience as
an athletic trainer. Additional related education may substitute
for the required experience on a year for year basis. Must be
licensed as an athletic trainer within the United States and be
expected to obtain a Texas license or certification.

individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring
