Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lubbock, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,858 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Lubbock, Texas, 79410! Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience required - Charting system experience required Description: Position will float between units. Weekends are required - 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Expected patient ratios are 1:5. The department supports various interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Patient demographics include adult and geriatric populations. Daily census and visit details will be determined as per unit requirements. The unit treats diagnoses such as acute care surgery and emergency general surgery. Individuals will be expected to manage peripheral lines and perform non-invasive airway management, among other skills. Orientation hours are provided. The dress code for nursing personnel is solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities as necessary. Failure to float may result in contract termination. Work-related communication devices will be provided if required for the assignment.
