Johnson Controls International plc. seeks skilled HVAC systems mechanics with experience in light commercial and heavy commercial markets to work with advanced equipment.

Journeyman must be skilled craftsmen with a minimum of five years of practical working experience in the HVAC industry. You may be required to pass a satisfactory examination to demonstrate your special skills.
As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service, solving building inefficiencies and resolving service-related items.
Mechanics must have practical working experience in light commercial or commercial mechanical equipment. You may be required to satisfactorily pass an examination to identify special skills. Scope of work shall be limited to commercial HVACR service.
Key responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
  
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities.
  
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Two years of commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
    
  • Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification.
    
  • Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
    
    Preferred qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Five years of commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.
      
    • Refrigeration Certification.
      
    • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
