Job descriptionPosition: -Senior EstimatorSenior Development Estimator Responsibilities:1. Analyze drawings and specifications.2. Understand contractual terms and conditions.3. Adhere to Estimating Team Processes, Expectations, and Responsibilities4. Assemble accurate and well-organized bid packages and publish jobs out to bid tosubcontractors & vendors in a timely manner.5. Provide clear & detailed quantity take offs.6. Organize subcontractor's quotations.7. Negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract documents and issue proper documented scope of work purchase orders.8. Write and approve change orders.9. Monitor progress and identify any potential risks throughout a project.10. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.11. Ensure site & office personnel are provided with proper documentation related to projects.12. Work with and deal with concerns of Chief Estimator, Estimator's, Project Manager's, & other office personnel.13. Approve subcontractor and vendor submittals.14. Meet with potential clients to discuss options for proposed services.15. Receive and review drawings for compliance and submit to the architects any RFIs during the bidding phase.16. Manage Estimators, Assistants, & Interns.17. Form new expected budget from preliminary plans18. Upon job completion, review job19. Buyout construction projects within budget.20. Value EngineeringSenior Estimator Requirements:1. 10+ years' experience in commercial construction estimating2. Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel3. Proficient with estimating software4. Understanding this role will require, at times, more than the 40 hours a week. 50-60 hours a week will be required during busy months.5. Ability to interpret and estimate according to plans, specifications, and other documents6. Ability to multi-task, work on tasks for multiple projects, and adhere to strict deadlines7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills8. Outstanding organizational skills9. Ability to identify and solve problems, and to make corrections in a timely manner10. Strong understanding of commercial construction processesJob Types: Full-time, InternshipPay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
