Position Description


Performs managerial work providing direction and guidance in setting and achieving goals and objectives; developing policies; reviewing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; establishing priorities, standards, and measurement tools for determining progress in meeting goals; coordinating and evaluating program activities; and establishing and monitoring budget. May plan, assign, and supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of scholarship strategies for multiple colleges/departments/programs.
  • Ensure clarity and coordination of awarding communications with all stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day end user support for scholarship programs and reporting.
  • Assist with data collection and dissemination of findings.
  • Perform data management tasks and basic analyses of scholarship accounts.
  • Coordinate scholarship awarding functions of the assigned colleges/departments including monitoring spendable fund balances, disbursement analysis and reporting, and awarding of scholarships.



    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in area of expertise or closely related area required. Three years of experience in planning, developing, or implementing programs/projects or research grants. Additional education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.



    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience working with financial aid data and demonstrated customer service orientation.
    • Possess excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills.
    • Work effectively in both and individual and team setting.
    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
