Covenant Health is seeking a full time, day shift Senior
Fundraising Coordinator with the Covenant Health System Foundation.
Job Summary: The Senior Fundraising Coordinator directed by the
Manager of Major Gifts and the Foundation President, will develop
plans and implement grateful patient and VIP (Very Important
Patient) strategies to engage new donors to support the mission and
funding needs of Covenant Health. Specifically, the person will
support the identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship
of donors. The position will also support marketing needs of the
Foundation and collaborate daily with MARCOMM to communicate donor
stories that impact the healthcare services of Covenant Health.
Essential Functions: Utilize systems and software to track and
cultivate donors and prospects.
Make direct, face-to-face solicitations, and assist other staff
with their solicitations (e.g. provide portfolio development
support, help with donor communications).
Collaborate with Stewardship Staff to acknowledge major donors
through public and private recognition.
Participate, as required, in Development team efforts including
solicitation strategy for key prospects and internal planning
Work with Foundation staff (and Covenant Marketing Team) to develop
and implement the Covenant Foundation brand strategy.
Develop and implement the Foundation Marketing strategy - including
campaigns, events, digital marketing, social media, and PR.
Work closely with the development team, enabling them to meet
objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, marketing
materials, and presentations.
Collaborate with the Stewardship and Donor Engagement staff to
execute event collateral and ongoing Foundation publicity
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Development, create
and implement the Foundations Grateful Patient and VIP Concierge
programs structure. Minimum Position Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or
equivalent educ/experience Experience: 1 year of fundraising and/or
sales experience. Preferred Position Qualifications: Education:
