The Outside Sales Consultant will be responsible for growing and managing their book of business and territory. This includes identifying and closing new accounts, setting up customer accounts, managing those relationships, taking customer orders, monitoring service levels, and supporting issue resolution, as needed. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys interacting directly with customers and supporting the end-to-end customer experience. This Sales Consultant will be expected to travel to customers on an ongoing basis and work closely with our distribution facility in Lubbock. This role reports to the area Sales Manager.Understand and effectively communicate Wagner and Imperial Dade’s extensive product catalogue of industrial janitorial supply products and foodservice packaging itemsBuild individual sales plan to target new customers across verticals including schools, hospitals, cities, machine shops, oilfield services, and agricultural facilitiesConsistently achieve revenue and conversion targets while focusing on increasing share of wallet and generating referralsBuild, manage, and report on a large pipeline of leads and opportunitiesManage the full lifecycle of customers: new, growing, and dormantParticipate in events and local networking Deliver an exceptional sales experience for our customers2+ years of proven high-touch account management or sales experienceHigh school diploma or GED (general education diploma) equivalencyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including demonstrated ability to quickly create and build relationshipsMust be a self-starter and problem solver, capable of working independently to prioritize and meet deadlinesPC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelAt Imperial Dade,we offer an exciting environment in which to work, learn, and grow professionally.
