Develop, coordinate, implement and direct the project plan and
monitor performance to ensure that company expectations are
satisfied regarding environmental, safety, cost effectiveness,
quality assurance/control, project work plan, schedules and impact
to the public.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, implement and oversee major project plans
in their entirety and monitor project status and modify when needed
to ensure timeliness and quality of projects is consistent with
Identify and select resources such as inspection, equipment,
contractors and material procurement required to coordinate
Direct, monitor and schedule contractors, inspectors and
employees in construction and maintenance activities of pipeline
construction, processing plants, storage facilities, terminals,
gathering and/or transmission systems and appurtenances including
but not limited to:
Plan process equipment and controls
Pipeline facilities; above and below grade
Purchasing and materials
Direct and monitor installation and/or maintenance of plant and
pipeline equipment and facilities including but not limited to:
Tapping/pressure control equipment
Pressure tests (air, gas, water)
Evaluate and recommend whether to repair or replace pipe and
Ensure contractors’ compliance with ONEOK safety, quality,
competency and performance standards. Provide feedback to ensure
ONEOK standards are being followed.
Provide information, recommendations, consultation and/or
assistance to customers, contractors, inspectors, city/county/state
officials, employees, management and others relative to company
activities, policies and procedures.
Compile, prepare and/or verify information including but not
Service cards/leak reports
Various budget recommendations
Determine the necessary actions in emergency response
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of

Education and Experience
Experience with and working knowledge of the construction,
maintenance and operation of pipeline systems and
Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable
to position including computer applications.
Application of basic math and algebraic formulas.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate work projects in their
entirety for most effective use of personnel and equipment.
Experience and training related to:
Transmission/gathering pipeline operations
Company/governmental operating and safety procedures
Emergency response procedures
Customer service functions
Demonstrated ability to research, compose, reconcile, and
prepare reports, invoices, studies, and correspondence applicable
Demonstrated ability to monitor operations and situations to
ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to interact, advise and communicate
Demonstrated ability to train, direct and/or supervise; working
knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to compile and prepare reports,
recommendations and correspondence.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret manuals, policies,
procedures, permits, governmental regulations, engineering plans,
maps, job specifications, reports, and correspondence.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions
including use of two-way radios.
Certification and Licensing
Applicable driver’s license to travel to job sites throughout
operating service area.
Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings and around
job sites out-of-doors.
Ability to assist crew members in performance of routine and/or
emergency activities such as construction and maintenance; leakage
detection and repair; and corrosion control.
Ability to operate tools and equipment required.
Sufficient to perform job duties.
