and proper healthcare. Responsibilities We have an exciting
opportunity as a Market Development Manager with the National
Center of the American Heart Association! This position can be
located anywhere in the continental US that allows for cost
effective and time efficient travel, with preferred location being
in Dallas TX. The Market Development Manager works with a
wide-range of health technology companies to build new
relationships and alliances in pursuit of the goals of the AHA's
Center for Health Technology & Innovation (CHTI). This position is
responsible for negotiating customer agreements that further AHA's
health-technology initiatives, with a particular emphasis on
digital licensing and solutions integration efforts and
opportunities. This position will work closely with the CHTI's
Health-Tech Advisory Group (HTAG), as well as AHA Corporate
Development, Legal and Science teams to design, develop and execute
these relationships. Essential Responsibilities: Identify and
positively develops health-technology business relationships and
align them to meet AHA health-technology business goals. Figure out
the best course of action for developing solutions & lead follow-up
to balance specific AHA business & licensing inquiries. Act as a
ready health-technology authority and serve as a key lead in
communication with region partners regarding meaningful
opportunities. Monitors and coordinates the contracting process and
works to actively onboard new relationships to maintain appropriate
customer activation and benefits fulfillment. Conducts needed
research on the health-tech marketplace, with the intent of
identifying key opportunities and potential relationships. Engages
with Continually adds to the sales pipeline to ensure adequate
support and achievement of goals. Record leads, contact
information, plans and next steps in customer relationship
management tool and provides regular progress reporting as
requested. Participates in CHTI team projects and initiatives as
requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in health
administration or a related discipline preferred or equivalent
years of work-related experience andor training. Minimum five (5)
years in health technology, health IT, or related field Experience
working with the healthcare market Ability to: learn and retain
product specific information. communicate, build relationships,
gain trust and effectively work with and through affiliate staff
and volunteers work with internal and external contacts in a manner
that is both convincing and influential negotiate effectively using
your executive presence and strong presentation skills work through
contracting and compliance processes through organized approach and
detail with negotiation on both internal and external partners Must
be able to travel overnight approx. 35% of the time Here are some
of the preferred skills we are looking for: Understanding of the
healthcare marketplace and payment models. Background in Health
ITprogramming. Ability to understand, interpret and communicate
data and data relationships in a healthcare environment. Click on
