Job Description:
Join U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a pivotal law
enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security, for a
unique recruitment webinar aimed at bringing in dedicated
professionals into the role of Border Patrol Agents. This position
is critical in supporting our mission to prevent terrorism, enhance
security, and facilitate the effective and efficient management of
cross-border traffic. Participants in the webinar will gain an
in-depth understanding of the role, the challenges, expectations,
and the rewards that come with being a part of CBP. Preventing the
unlawful entry of individuals and contraband into the United
States. Performing vigilant surveillance, patrolling borders by
vehicle, boat, or on foot. Conducting inspections and making
arrests as required by law. Preparing clear and detailed reports of
activities and incidents. Engaging and collaborating with other law
enforcement agencies and stakeholders. Assisting in the planning
and execution of complex criminal investigations involving national
security threats. Ability to perform duties in a multicultural and
multilingual environment. Strong analytical skills to detect
unlawful activities or contraband. Physical fitness and the ability
to pass fitness tests. Exceptional interpersonal and communication
skills. Proficient in using law enforcement technologies and
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Must successfully complete the CBP Border Patrol
training academy. Valid driver’s license. Pass a thorough
background investigation, polygraph test, and drug test. U.S.
citizenship and age between 18 and 40 at the time of
appointment.
