Human Resources ClerkAzteca Milling in Plainview,TX is seeking a HR Clerk who can assists the HR department by providing confidential service to all HR customers (employees). Relays information regarding HR such as administration, recruitment, payroll, benefits and HR compliance. HR functions include but are not limited to recruitment, onboarding, benefits and employee relations. Self-starter and ability to meet deadlines essential.Essential Functions
Administration:
Directs resolves and answers employee internal inquiries.
Received and distributes mail or correspondence to employees.
Proofreads and types of documents and correspondence procedures for all departments.
Process required paperwork for employee transfers, changes, job classifications, salary increases and related employment matters.
Purchases HR office equipment as needed.
Leave of Absence:
Communicates need for leaves and processes appropriate paperwork.
Handles FMLA/ADA leave administration and maintains communication with leave employees.
Supports HRM and managers on the interactive process for leaves.
Facilitates leave requests with accommodations under ADA.
Maintains accurate records of leave accommodation requests in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
Recruitment:
Recruits and/or assigns temporary or direct-hire employees to hiring managers.
Assists in the recruitment selection process.
Schedules and organizes appointments for interviews, with departmental managers.
Maintains adequate records for all recruitment process internal and external.
4.Payroll:
Inputs and transmits multi-plant payroll into system, verifying all entries are accurate (vacation/sick time/hours worked/hours paid) on a weekly basis.
Responds to payroll & benefit inquiries from employees and management on a timely manner.
Process and maintain employee files relating to benefit programs (health/dental/std/ltd/life), prepares notice of changes for payroll. Records and processes time records, creates payroll statistics, maintains records and submits payroll on, weekly, bimonthly and biweekly basis.
Compliance:
Applies personnel policies, practices and procedures consistently throughout organization
Responsible for completing wage verifications on a timely basis.
Assist managers and HRM with legal policy clarification when needed.
Ensures all polies are followed by citing when necessary.
Provides support to managers and supervisors as requested in HR related duties.
Benefits:
Communicates HR related topics such as benefits, policies & procedures, etc., and distributes related material to employees.
Assists in the administration of various employee activities such as benefits, 401k enrollment, ISO quality program, training programs.
Monitors pre-employment and onboarding initial process such as drug screens, new hire documentation, i-9, and E-Verify, conducts orientations (English and Spanish) for all new hires. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor s Degree in HR or Management/Psychology or other related field. 2 years of Experiance Certifications:SHRM-CP, SHRM SCP, PHR, SPHR certifications preferred Biligual is a MUST

files Post open positions (internal & external) Post/create memos & other flyers Process employee of the month cards, post name and picture of finals on frame Take pictures of new hires Issues Mission ID badges for new employees Takes orders for uniforms Maintains I9s updated Responsible for internal product sales to employees Prepares Monthly sales report Translate documents when needed Assist with company activities/meetings/audits Support HR/Employees with open enrollment Conduct Orientation of new employees, complete all hiring paperwork and create new employee files.d. In the absence of HR Representative the HR Assistant/Payroll Clerk will be responsible for those duties with assistance from HR Manager.e. Perform other duties as assigned.
