Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lubbock, TX Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,620 to $1,764 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $45.00 - $49.00/Hourly. Summary: A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the PICU provides specialized respiratory care for critically ill pediatric patients. The therapist assesses, monitors, and manages patients’ airway and breathing needs, collaborates with the healthcare team, and operates advanced respiratory equipment to support life-saving interventions. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Assess and monitor pediatric patients with respiratory distress or cardiopulmonary conditions. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and advanced ventilator support. Operate and manage mechanical ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, and other respiratory equipment. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests. Respond to emergencies, including code situations, with airway management expertise. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff on patient care plans. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, PALS Certification, NRP Certification, RRT, Locals accepted at lower rate.
