Job Description Covenant Children's Hospital, Lubbock, Texas *OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity* *Sign-On Bonus Available* The Opportunity: Covenant Children’s Hospital is a 275-bed facility offering acute care and a surgical facility serving the west Texas community since 1992. It is home to a level III C NICU, a maternal-fetal medicine center, antepartum high-risk suites, and private labor, delivery, surgical birthing, recovery and mother-baby suites, as well as ongoing educational programs for new families. Our Ob Hospitalist are supported by a full time experienced Nurse Practitioner, onsite Maternal Fetal Medicine, in house Anesthesia and strong nursing staff. Lubbock is the county seat of Lubbock County, the 11th most populated city in Texas and is home to more than 255,000 residents. Its nickname is “Hub City” which derives from it being the economic, educational, and health-care hub of the multicounty region called the South Plains. Full-time Hospitalist have the freedom to create their own schedules – typically eight 24-hour shifts per month – with no on-call duty or office management.
