Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Levelland, Texas Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Facility: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital (31 Beds) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Levelland, TX. This is a night shift position with 1:2 patient ratios. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently in a Level I maternal designation unit handling low-risk deliveries with a higher-risk community population (including diabetes, gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, and preterm labor). Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients and postpartum mothers Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries Perform fetal monitoring (external/internal, IUPC) Administer medications including magnesium sulfate, oxytocin (Pitocin), prostaglandins, and antihypertensives Neonatal resuscitation and newborn assessment OB triage and NSTs Circulate and recover C-sections Postpartum care including hemorrhage management Work independently in L&D and assist in mom/baby as needed Float between units or nearby sister facilities as required Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Active Texas RN License or Compact License (in hand at submission) BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NRP Preferred Qualifications AWHONN (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced) Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Previous Charge Experience Community Hospital Experience Mom/Baby or Transition Nursing experience About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
