Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lubbock, TX Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,620 to $1,764 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $45.00 - $49.00/Hourly. Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides advanced respiratory care to critically ill infants and children. This role involves managing complex airway and ventilatory support, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams, and delivering family-centered care in a high-acuity environment. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive respiratory care to critically ill pediatric patients, including neonates, infants, and children. Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, including high-frequency ventilation and advanced modes. Perform airway management, including intubation assistance, extubation support, suctioning, and tracheostomy care. Administer aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and nitric oxide as prescribed. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, Previous Neonatal/Pediatric experience, PICU/NICU experience Required, BLS Certification, PALS Certification, ACLS Certification, NRP Certification, RRT, Locals accepted at lower rate.
