Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lubbock, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 18:30 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of PICU/NICU experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, RRT, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Experience in Pediatric Critical Care, proficiency in intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care. Description: We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a pediatric critical care setting. The therapist will primarily work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The position entails providing respiratory care for neonates, infants, and children. Candidates should have experience with mechanical ventilation and related support therapies. Floating between units is not required. Weekends are generally required every other weekend. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in troubleshooting respiratory equipment and managing various airway interventions. Additional skills required include nasal and oral airway placement, suctioning techniques, and sputum specimen collection. Knowledge and experience in using ventilators and high-flow nasal cannula systems are essential. The ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment is important. Candidates must have the ability to commit to working three out of five major holidays. References will be required to ensure appropriate experience and skills.
