Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Plainview, TX Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,136 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Plainview, Texas, 79072! Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Charge RN – Texas Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Plainview, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 6 weekend shifts required per schedule period; weekends as needed Highlights: Short-term acute care facility with 49 staffed beds and Level IV Trauma Center designation 8-bed Emergency Department with average daily census of 40 patients 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts Epic charting system with 40 hours of orientation provided Charge responsibilities with brief orientation; take patient load when charging Full interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory, radiology, and rapid response teams Requirements: Active RN license (Compact license accepted) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Previous Charge Nurse experience required Experience with 1:4 patient ratios Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, NIHSS Proficiency in general emergency care for combined adult and pediatric populations across all age groups Competency in triage, critical care interventions, trauma management, and behavioral health emergencies Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Emergency Department role offers experienced RNs the chance to utilize their charge leadership skills while maintaining direct patient care in a collaborative acute care environment.
