Location: Lubbock, Texas Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
required, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Highlights: 13-week assignment
at a 379-bed Short Term Acute Care facility with Level II Trauma
designation 30-bed renal specialty unit with average daily census
of 29 patients, caring for adult and geriatric populations Epic EMR
system; 40 hours of paid orientation provided Titration of cardiac
and vasoactive drips required; hands-on management of complex
patient conditions Interdisciplinary support including IV teams,
pharmacy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Free
employee parking available on-site Requirements: Current compact RN
license (must be in hand at time of submission) Minimum 1 year of
recent step-down or progressive care experience Active
certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Demonstrated experience with 1:4
patient ratios and Epic charting system Proficiency in titrating
insulin, cardiac, and vasoactive drips (required) Strong skills in
telemetry interpretation, central line management, blood product
administration, and renal patient care Experience with
temporary/permanent pacemakers, chest tubes, surgical drains, and
hemodialysis management Two supervisory references covering one
