Job Description:
Senior Surgical Technician at Covenant Health summary: The
Senior Surgical Technician supports surgical procedures by
maintaining the sterile field, passing instruments, and assisting
nursing staff during operations. This role requires certification
in surgical technology and basic life support, and involves both
scrub and circulating duties. The position is full-time, on-site,
with shift flexibility and comprehensive benefits at a healthcare

We have Day shift available. As a member of the surgical team,
under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator,
maintains the operating room sterile field; passes instruments,
sutures, and sponges during surgery. Insures that proper aseptic
technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection.
Performs in the role of second scrub and/or first assistant as
needed. Assists the registered nurse with circulating duties.

Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of
Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire or, National
Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency
