Responsibilities: Our Hygienists play a crucial role in providing direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist, while also supporting office operations. Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to every patient. Provide direct patient care, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant and fluoride application, and related procedures under the general supervision of a dentist. Offer excellent customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care. Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices. Evaluate patients' dental conditions and review their medical histories. Adhere to all government regulations and organizational standards. Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process. Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed. Take x-rays and ensure they are saved in patient records when necessary. Create memorable experiences for patients by showing compassion and understanding. Qualifications: Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing. CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire). We prioritize teamwork, mutual respect, and collaboration.
