Infusion RN - Chemotherapy at Providence Health and Services
summary: The Infusion RN - Chemotherapy specializes in
administering chemotherapy, infusion therapy, and managing venous

health network. Description Infusion RN - Chemotherapy The Infusion
RN has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side
effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain
management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous
access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in
direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to
intervene according to assessment findings. Providence caregivers

the designated location. Candidates must reside within commutable

shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff
vacancies Required Qualifications: Nursing degree/diploma Upon
hire: Texas Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association Within 1 year of hire: ALS
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Coursework/Training: 12
cancer-related CE's after hire -OR- OCN certification after hire 1
year Nursing. 1 year Oncology experience. Chemotherapy
