Job Description:
Description The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties
relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock
medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other
ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense
oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining
the integrity of the automated dispensing system. Providence

them. Required Qualifications: - H.S. Diploma or GED - Texas
Registered Pharmacy Technician License upon hire. Or - Texas
Pharmacy Technician Trainee upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: -
Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program -
Inpatient experience - Previous experience with Automated
Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR) Why

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
