Description Certified Patient Care Technician, Plainview The
Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily
living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the
licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe,
hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused

Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Combined equivalent experience
and certification needed for function and level or current graduate
of state approved PCT program (CPCT) Upon hire: National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association. Upon hire: National Certified
Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Health Career
Association Preferred Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or GED
Equivalency 6 months of PCT experience in an acute care setting. 6
