Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Valid State
License Description: This position is for an Emergency Room
Registered Nurse. The nurse will work night shifts consisting of
three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekends will be required, with six
weekend shifts every six weeks. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio
is 1:3. This position does not float between units or require
on-call duty. Specific uniform requirements include solid navy blue
scrubs for nursing personnel. The facility is a short-term acute
care center with a total of 379 staffed beds. The facility is a
Level II Trauma Center. Print tops are not accepted, except in
specific units. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby
facilities. Refusal to float may lead to assignment termination
and/or loss of guaranteed hours. Providers will receive
communication devices, if required for the assignment. Completion
of modules is necessary before starting the position. All RTO and
specific scheduling requests must be made upfront during
submittal.
