them. The outpatient infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology,
chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood
product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with
port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse
applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates
the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment
findings. Please note the following important details regarding
this role:

- Work Status and Shifts Available:
- Per diem/On-call, Day
- Positions specified as "on call/per diem" refer to employment
consisting of shifts scheduled on an "as needed basis" to fill in
for staff vacancies. Required Qualifications:
- Nursing degree/diploma.
- Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Chemotherapy administration experience
- Coursework/Training: 12 cancer-related CE's after hire or
- Coursework/Training: OCN certification after hire.
- 1 year Nursing
