Job Title: Registered NurseWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UMC Health System. As a Registered Nurse on our Geriatric Trauma Acute Care & Supportive Care Unit (GT/SCU), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our patients.About the Unit:Our 29-bed Medical/Surgical unit, GTSCU, focuses on providing care to patients aged 60 years or older who have sustained a trauma, as well as those requiring palliative care. Our goal is to provide relief of suffering and improve the quality of life for our patients.Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating total nursing care for a group of patients. You will work collaboratively with other shifts and departments to ensure optimal continuity of care.Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire
