Seeking a BC/BE Hematology & Oncology physician to join an established group for a full-time opportunity in Texas.Job Quick Facts--- Specialty: Hematology & Oncology--- Facility Location: Lubbock, TX--- Board Requirement: BC/BE--- License Requirement: TX--- Reason for Need: Vacancy--- Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing--- Service Setting: Inpatient--- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call--- Shift/Call schedule: - Hospital: Rounds Mon-Fri, & Rotational Call Sat-Sun - Clinic: OP clinic Mon-Thurs and 1/2day OP clinic every Fri - Call is rotated based on the group; weekday & weekend calls - Weekday calls: 1day; Weekend calls: 1 per 6 weeks--- Patient Demographics: Adult--- % of Practice: Clinic - 85%; Hospital - 15%; Hematology - 40%; Oncology - 60%--- Ave. no. of consults per day: 20; 5-10 new consults per week--- Ave no. of hospital patients per day: 2-5--- Ave. no. of Admissions per day: 0-2--- No. of physicians in the practice: 6; shared NP--- Support Staff: RN, MA, shared NP--- Hospital privileges required--- Time needed to obtain privileges: 3 months--- Temp privileges will be granted if needed--- EMR: Hospital - Meditech; Clinic - Allscripts
