Family Practice/Primary Care opening in Lubbock, Texas. Nurse Practitioner Lubbock, TX We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Lubbock, TX. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a part-time basis providing direct patient care 1 day per week on Fridays. Our ideal NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point/joint injections. The incoming provider must have experience with trigger point injections. We offer patients relief from chronic pain conditions, including arthritis and sciatica, and persistent pain in the knees or lower back. We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including a physician, advance practice provider and amazing support staff. Duties:

• Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
• Order and review tests/labs
• Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
• Patient education as to diagnosis and treatment options
• Manage patient care
• Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections
• Documentation and progress notes
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care Requirements:
  • Graduation from and accredited NP program
  • NP license in TX
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
  • Must have experience with trigger point injections Compensation:
