Supervises non-licensed nursing personnel. Under the direct
supervision of a registered nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited licensed vocational school of
- Heart Failure Clinic (HC6): Annual education on current
concepts in management of Heart Failure.
- Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire or New Mexico
Licensed Practical Nurse upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon
- Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke
Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
- Cardiac Cath Lab Holding Area: 1 year experience as an LVN in a
Critical Care area.
