Job Description:
Description The Nursing Technician performs basic patient care
by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the
direction of a licensed nurse. Required qualifications:
- A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing
program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical
Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains
enrollment or
- A graduate of a professional school of nursing who has taken
but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing
examination within the first year following graduation
- After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
