CompleteRx has an opportunity for a full-time Pharmacist to help provide exceptional patient care at a 60 bed acute care facility located in Dumas, TX (located 45 minutes North of Amarillo). Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday (No weekends)
• 8am - 5pm
• On call, every other week after hours.

  Hospital OverviewMoore County Hospital District (MCHD) serves a rural population base that covers six counties and consistently performs alongside top hospitals in the nation, both rural and urban, in clinical measures, patient satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. MCHD hospital inpatient services include, med surg & intermediate care, women's services, surgical services, imaging, lab, respiratory, nutritional, social services, swing bed, integrated care, population health, and patient education.
  What You Will Do
  • Ensure safe, appropriate, cost effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately
  • Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol
  • Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
  • Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy
  • Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nursing
    What You Will Need Requirements:
    • Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher
    • Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in resident State or eligible to reciprocate
    • Two plus years hospital experience preferred but not required
    • Courteous, professional service to patients, visitors and staff
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
