The Speech Language Pathologist provides services to adult and/or
pediatric populations with speech, language, cognitive,
communication, developmental, and voice disorders. Speech therapy
can be extremely rewarding because you have the opportunity to help

Oral and pharyngeal muscle strength, activity tolerance, tone, and
Swallow maneuvers and techniques.

complying with legal regulations.
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining
personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for

to add value to job accomplishments.
Master's Degree or equivalent as recognized by the American
Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) in Speech/Language
Maintain valid state Speech Language Therapy License is
Superior Verbal Communication, Patient Services, Health Care
Administration, Teamwork, Use of Medical Technologies, Bedside
Manner, Dependability, Health Promotion and Maintenance
Must possess intermediate computer skills
Therapy services leadership and delegation experience
