Pediatric Clinic LVN

Covenant Health is seeking a Full Time Clinic LVN for the
Pediatric Clinic at Covenant Medical Group.
Administers nursing care to patients within an assigned clinic.
Provides assistance to clinic physicians.
- Demonstrates the ability to transfer scientific knowledge from
social, biological, and physical sciences in applying the nursing
- Gives patient education and instruction as directed by the
physician (to include but not limited to, judgments and decisions
on phone calls, advising patients with physician guidelines,
procedures preparation, in-home care).
- Perform clerical duties to include appointment scheduling,
chart maintenance, x-ray and lab scheduling, routing all test
results to physician, and reporting results to patients.
- Responsible for room and patient preparation per
clinic/physician guidelines. Patient assessment, vital signs,
history/present illness, allergies, medication, and visual acuity
on general physicals as requested.
- Administers specified medication and injection, and
documentation on patient medical chart.
- Administers prescribed procedures, including but not limited
to, catheterization, throat cultures, suture removal, specimen
collection, ear irrigation, wound and burn dressing.
- Applies orthopedic devices, arm slings, leg, ankle, wrist, and
shoulder splints, and rib belts. Instruct in use of crutches.
- Maintaining patient care area. Restocking supplies, exam rooms,
ordering medication, and maintaining drug supplies according to
system policies. Maintains work area in neat and organized

other regulatory requirements.
