Job Description:
A company is looking for a Government Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite FHA and VA loans with active government designation
Potentially underwrite various other types of loans
Maintain communication with Loan Officers and Processors regarding
loan status
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of specific government underwriting
experience
Must possess valid CHUMS and/or LAPP/Sar to underwrite FHA and VA
loans
Recent experience underwriting Jumbo and Non-QM loans highly
preferred
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
systems
Proven leadership skills and high integrity required
