**Description:****Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a
Program Manager, Supplier Management** **to our location in Renton,
WA.**Providence is looking for a talented program manager to help
build, implement, and lead the future of socially responsible
sourcing with a focus on supplier diversity, equity & inclusion
(SDEI), envrionmentally preferred purchases (EPP) and supplier
management. As a Program Manager, you will assist in developing the
strategy, communication and performance management of a system-wide
initiative. This role will create all necessary tools and resources
to collaborate with cross functional teams across the organization
to engage and adopt SDEI/EPP initiatives and supplier management.
The preferred candidate will support work across the organization
to ensure that we develop and manage an industry leading supplier
inclusion program to truly impact the diverse communities we
serve.**In this position you will have the following
responsibilities:**+ Manage increased engagement amongst sourcing
and cross functional business owners through meetings,
presentations and the understanding of the diverse supplier
landscape within each category.+ Work closely with key business
partners to identify contract opportunities and areas for
improvement for diverse supplier specific solutions and supplier
management initiatives.+ Drive strategic business goals, plans,
programs and projects for SDEI/EPP initiatives and supplier
portfolio.+ Lead cross functional teams to achieve milestones and
organizational objectives.+ Identify qualified, prospective
SDEI/EPP suppliers to facilitate introductory discussions with
sourcing and cross functional contract managers/business owners.+
Review and verify diverse supplier onboarding applications against
existing controls.+ Anticipate internal/external business
challenges and drive change through supplier management.+ Manage
and support socially responsible supplier outreach events at
federal, state, community and sponsorship organizations.+ Benchmark
industry best practices in socially responsible sourcing programs
and implement appropriate practices for optimal supplier management
performance.+ Manage and measure socially responsible sourcing
policy, compliance and key performance indicators.+ Coordinate PSJH
Supplier management business reviews with cross functional
stakeholders to review strategic initiatives, performance metrics
and policy compliance.+ Excellent communication skills with proven
ability to navigate a complex organization while leading by
influence to gain concensus and compliance.+ Be a point of contact
to address internal and external request and escalations related to
supplier diversity operations and supplier management.+ Must
maintain a high level of professionalism and present the
organization in the best light possible. Perform miscellaneous
projects and duties as assigned.**Qualifications:****Required
qualifications for this position include:**+ Bachelor's Degree in
Supply Chain, Business, Communications or Financeor equivalent
education/experience.+ 3 years experience working in contract
management, supply chain.**Preferred qualification for this
position include:**+ Lean Six Sigma Certified.+ Project
Management.+ 2 years experience in leading complex projects
including cross functional team management.**About the department
