and Design Team in our Lubbock, TX office, where you'll play a

in a rapidly shifting digital world. Position Overview: As an OSP
Engineer , you will perform field engineering and onsite project
management in collaboration with the JSI design team, client, and
construction contractor to produce OSP FTTx build-outs.
Responsibilities Responsible for project scope and definition.
Assisting with construction planning. Reviews design changes to
ensure proper routing of fiber construction. Create and review
as-built documentation. Assist with the permitting of proposed new
construction for buried, underground, and aerial OSP facilities.
Required Qualifications A bachelor’s degree from an accredited
college is required. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or GIS
discipline preferred. Working knowledge of GIS, including
ArcGIS/QGIS/Google Earth, etc. Working knowledge of AutoCAD or
other CAD-based software. Ability to read and understand maps,
drawings, and diagrams for Telecom/FFTx OSP construction. Must
possess intermediate skills in basic programs like Microsoft
Office, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Highly organized, self-starter,
and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written interpersonal
communication skills. Superior time management and strong attention
to detail. Overtime is often required. Must provide own vehicle,
but will be paid per mile. Must perform repetitive physical motions
of bending, standing, climbing, and walking on uneven terrain. (You
will be exposed to various weather conditions) This position
