Telemundo Lubbock is looking for a hard-working, creative and
energetic Spanish-language anchor/producer to join our team. This
is a full-time position. The station will invest in and train this
anchor/producer, providing the opportunities for the winning

Telemundo Lubbock is looking for a hard-working, creative and
energetic Spanish-language anchor/producer to join our team. This
is a full-time position. The station will invest in and train this
anchor/producer, providing the opportunities for the winning
candidate to grow and advance. Essential responsibilities include,
but are not limited to: Producing and anchoring daily
Spanish-language newscast. You will collaborate with other team
members, including other anchors, to deliver the best possible
product on-air. In addition to anchoring on-air, you will be
responsible for writing both for on-air and for digital platforms.
It's important to be a team player, who is able to help others.
Community service is vital to what we do.
Qualifications/Requirements: -- Must have strong command of the
Spanish language, and ability to translate from English to
Spanish-- Ability to creatively tell stories using video, utilizing
natural sound and creative editing techniques-- Must be capable of
writing and producing pre-planned and breaking news coverage-- Must
work well under pressure and meet deadlines-- Must practice solid
news judgment and have knowledge of current events-- Must be able
to make good decisions quickly-- Hands-on experience with editing
software-- Able to conduct interviews to get information-- Ability
to represent the station professionally in the community and
newsroom-- Must be able to work well independently and with
others-- College degree in journalism or related field is
preferred. Related experience is a plus-- Valid driver's license
and excellent driving record Additional Info: Gray Television
