If you’re looking for a role that supports your professional growth and your connection to a vibrant community, we’d love to talk. \n People First in Lubbock, TX \n Local Team Collaboration: \n \n Join our close-knit team of Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians and advanced practice providers at Covenant Children’s Hospital, the only licensed freestanding children’s hospital in West Texas and eastern New Mexico. \n Our physicians and APPs love working here because of the supportive hospital staff, strong nurse relationships, and collaborative team culture. \n \n Qualifications: \n \n Board-certified or Board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine \n Candidates with significant Pediatric Emergency Medicine experience who completed residency before 2016 will also be considered, provided they maintain active board certification in their primary specialty and hold current ATLS certification \n \n Practice in the Heart of the Community \n Scheduling: \n \n Full-time: Minimum average of 120 hours/month \n Part-time and PRN options are also available \n \n Key Responsibilities: \n \n Our 16-bed emergency department, complete with 2 trauma bays, delivers exceptional care to children in a supportive and collaborative environment. \n Deliver high-quality care in a Level II Trauma Center with seasonal adjustments to physician coverage (24–36 hours/day) based on patient volume. \n Teaching opportunities with Pediatric and Family Medicine residents. \n Work in a supportive environment with dedicated OB ED and excellent subspecialty support. \n Access to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Bedside Ultrasound for efficient care delivery. \n Utilize EPIC EMR to ensure efficient and effective patient documentation and communication—scribe coverage for 12 hours per day. \n \n Living and Working in Lubbock: \n Lubbock offers the perfect blend of small-town charm and metropolitan amenities.
