Neonatologists; 3 Pediatric Intensivists & 20 Pediatricians Support
Staff: 2 APPs - NP onsite (day) & NP on-call (night) Duties: -
Rounding, creating plan of care through epic, attending high-risk
deliveries, performing procedures & completing perinatal consults.
Required Procedures: - Ventilation mgmt, Chest tube insertion,
exchange transfusions, eval. & mgmt. of acute volume/BP issues,
Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis & Thoracentesis. Required to
Supervise APPs: Yes; 2 NNPs on daily, 1 field calls overnight No.
of Beds: 214 Beds in Dept: 52 NICU Level: IV Trauma Level: II EMR:
Epic Other Info: - Can stay in the onsite call room. - CV surgery
cases are referred out for intervention. Hospital Privileges
Required: Yes Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements: Active TX License BC DEA NRP At least 5 yrs of
experience (preferred)
